This park has great cabins, four of them. They have tent camping. They have RV camping. There is a nice place to have weddings. The Boy Scouts have group meetings here often. There is canoe and kayak access to the river. There is also primitive camp area. There are a few nice group meeting areas. Lee state park has a website that you can find out everything about it. The Rangers here are always very helpful. The park is clean and well-kept. They have a nice playground for kids. This is a great place for a family outing. And it's right down the street from a petting zoo and Bee Farm
The clubhouse is a lovely venue for our annual family reunion. After dinner we walk down the boat landing (which is paved) to sit in the sun and let the children play in the river. Great spot to let them splash. There is also a playground with swings, lovely wooded trails to walk, and camping access with barbeque spots for family dinners. It's a wonderful rustic spot to visit or to stay, and the park is kept clean and tidy by the on-site ranger.
Great place Good sites .Clean showers and Bathrooms. Heated in the cool months and cooled in the hot. Find sharks teeth in the trail in the sand. Geocatching.
I stayed here in April 2017 with a 28' travel trailer. The park is beautiful and the sites are nice and fairly private and mostly shaded. The is water and electric like most state parks. There is no sewer hook ups, but there is a dump station on the way out. We stayed there for a few days while we checked out the area. There was someone in the office when I arrived, but they didn't answer the door and I was a little unclear where to go and what to do because there are no signs or directions at the office telling what to do. I went and found my site on my own (reserved online) and just moved in. A lady (camp host) came around on a four-wheeler not to long after I arrived and checked me in. So I guess my point is I would not plan on arriving there at night unless you know where you are going, especially if you have big rig. The circle at the back end is tight and if you are pulling a long rig you will need to see what you are doing.
Wonderful place to visit and stay. Staff very helpful and friendly. Cabin became a home away from home. Very comfortable with everything you would need. Beautiful suroundings. Saw deer and we were thrilled. Park even recycles, something we like.
